The Home League Fellowship is a worship meeting with some entertainment. It is held on Tuesday afternoon and is much less formal than the weekly Sunday services and is held in our ancillary hall. The fellowship has a membership and anyone is welcome to join. Traditionally, the membership has been mainly women but in recent years a number of men have joined and this has been a welcome development. Except on the first Tuesday in the month the meeting starts at 1.45 p.m. with a cup of tea and a biscuit followed at 2.00 p.m. with the meeting which last until about 3 p.m.
In order to cover the costs, an optional monthly membership donation is requested.
This activity not only provides an opportunity for worship during the week but also
enables people to meet with a wider circle of friends. Of the current membership, for about half, this is the only contact with this church.
On the first Tuesday of each month the meeting takes a different format and the fellowship meets at 12.30 for a hot lunch. There is a small charge for the meal and any profit goes towards
a social project to help a specific group of people with a particular need.
