The 16th Reading (Salvation Army) Brownie Pack

The Brownie pack is for girls aged 7 to 10 years and meets on a Wednesdays during term time from 6:00 − 7:30 pm. Brownies make a promise that they share with members around the world;

I promise that I will do my best:
To love my God,
To serve the King and my country,
To help other people
and To keep the Brownie Guide Law.

The Brownie Guide Law is:

A Brownie Guide thinks of others before herself and does a Good Turn every day.

Brownies take part in indoor, sometimes outdoor events and Brownie Holidays or Camps. Their meetings are full of games, crafts and activities that provide challenging opportunities. Brownies work together in small groups, are encouraged in self-government and decision making, have a balanced and varied programme, care for the individual and sharing a commitment to a common standard. The Brownie programme covers the areas of You, Community and World.
