Each week there is a variety of activities including football, table tennis and snooker. We also have a Wii and Xbox 360 with Kinect. Sometimes the Xbox is played onto the large screen where the youngsters enjoy playing ′Fifa 12′ or everyone joins in ′Dance 3′. There is also a craft table where the children are invited to join in activities such as making gifts for Mother′s Day, clay models, egg decorating, cards and much more. A tuck shop is available for the children to buy drinks, crisps, chocolate and pick ′n′ mix sweets including sweets suitable for vegetarians.
On Fridays in June and July we spend the evenings at the park (weather permitting). This gives the children a chance to play football in a larger area and in the park too.
The leaders and helpers at the Youth Club are CRB checked and have completed
The Salvation Army Safe and Sound (Child Safety) Course. There is also a First Aider on duty.
There is a charge of £1 per week for members of the youth club.
